ACTA Oncologica together with Nordic Association for Clinical Physics 
(NACP) invites you to participate in one or both meetings focusing on 
particle therapy and multidisciplinary medical physics from a 
Nordic perspective.

The topics for the ACTA Oncologica Symposium will include a 
general overview of particle therapy and state-of-the art lectures by 
invited speakers. A number of themes including radiation biology, 
treatment planning, tumour specific issues are open to proffered papers. 
One session will be devoted to Nordic cooperation in particle therapy.

The NACP, an umbrella organisation for the Nordic 
medical physics societies, has decided to host the second 
Nordic Symposium in Uppsala in 2011. The symposium includes presentations 
from invited  speakers, giving state-of-the-art lectures, and parallel presentations of scientific papers within all  different fields of medical physics.
